Introducing the DivX Web Player
Videofriender serves DiVX-encoded videos using the DivX Web Player, courtesy of DivX. The DivX Web Player is an application which allows the streaming of DivX and similar-format videos from web servers.

1) How does the video access requests work out exactly?
Normally, uploaders will need some time to approve access to requested videos. As you probably have realized in this "Messages" section, there is a section which allows uploaders to grant access to specific videos.
Certain uploaders are allowed to auto-approve their videos because of the sheer number of requests. We do allow such special previledges if necessary upon requests.
2) Is there a fee for this service?
There is no fee for requesting access to videos, but just in case if you would like instant access to all videos without the need to request access from video uploader, you are kindly invited to donate to our cause on a monthly basis via the "Chip In" box on the frontpage or the "About" page.
3) If so, how much and how often are the fees paid and what is the acceptable method of payments?
It is possible to securely pay using credit/debit card or bank account via PayPal on a monthly basis. The payment amount required varies from time to time.
4) How will I find a listing of all the shows available through this web-site?
Unfortunately, the video listing tab is only available for those who donate. For the rest, you are welcome find listings of particular videos on our site is via our search engine. You may also choose to look at the profile of video uploaders for a listing of their videos.
5) How secure would my information be?
Be rest assured that your account information is strongly protected via powerful encryption and will not be released to other parties.
6) I noted a box to uncheck if the user does not wish to receive email notification. Will these notifications be sent automatically even if I opt out?
Email notifications are sent to your email address by default via our internal messaging system unless user opt out of our email messaging notification.
7) Is there any other information that a prospective client/viewer would need to know before joining?
