server upgrades?

it seems like the servers are a little overwelmed nowadays. i see post after post about problems streaming...this week has been the worst i have to download everything i want to watch now...ive been using this site for 2 years now and it was flawless in the begining....video would play the instant you pressed it...best site ive seen ...videos look great on my 50 inch...is there any word about fixing the system to handle the new volume of users? ive got sites i can use if i just want to download something i pay for this site so i can stream ...i just want to see an admin post something about whats being done to correct this issue if any...please let us know

All I can tell you, is that.... From what i've seen its been fix or what/ever. Because, they are now working just fine befor it all started last 2 to 3 weeks ago. I havnt had any problems in the last 48 hours maybe 72, not sure.

Im still having this problem cannot watch a full movvie...buffering every 45 seconds!

Ever though it could be your internet connection, there "stephen"? Anyone with a lower of 3 to 5MBs of download speeds dont have very good chance's of buffering at full max. Same gose to downloading.

Well it's definitely improved...but they must be doing something else...at least I hope they are...I remember the times when this site was quicker than it has ever been...good times :)

i got a 15 mb connection i thought maybe it was fuckin up but i go to high def 1080i sites and the streaming is flawless...i only have problems with videofriender and its only been in the last couple weeks..it sucks cuz because of this site i dont need my cable box any more...any the quality of the streams on here is unmatched (when they work)....please admin clue us in on any developments

Sicuro, do you have stock in the company or something? Site hasn't worked for weeks, yet you constantly pipe-in to assure everyone it's A-OK or to shout down anyone who makes a thread like this.
People just want to know what the issues are and when they'll be fixed.

sites worked fine for me, ive had no real problems. There was 1 day where nothing would play and i could download and one day where i could download or play, then back to normal, and on a 2mb line u should be able to straem just fine

and now today for the first time in 2 years i cant stream anything on the site...this is ridiculous....downloading still works but streaming is the whole point of me using this site...so i can stream everything and download what i wanna keep....ive seen a million of these posted in the last month ...but yet to see an admin say anything about the subject....we are the blood that fuels this site with out us it wouldnt exist...just let us how know what is needed to fix it...please post something to let us know

They got new servers coming along the way..Don't be surprised if there is some downtime while they are being installed..

@ kevin...how do you know this?...did they tell you?...i looked allover but didnt see anything...i sure hope your right...i dont care about downtime....the sites pretty much down for me now with out streaming...what ever it takes to restore the site back to what it was before december...this site WAS the best video site on the net

You can send a personal message to the admin...
And I don't think they like this anymore than users do...however, the site's working normally for me...

I contacted them a few days ago and this is what they told me.
We can confirm that there is a slow video buffering issue with all our videos.
We are acquiring more servers to meet this surge in upstream demand. This issue should be solved in a matter of days.
Anyway, we have just enabled a temporary fix a couple of minutes ago, if it helps.

Its very simple "contac", all you to do is send the admin a message on whats the deal is.
I dont know why you have to give us the 3rd degree when we try to explain stuff to you guys. You bite off are heads saying "where the hell do you get that info at"? Any person would of figured it out that we got it from the admins themselfs.

Not trying to ruffle any feathers here, but, should we need to pm admin to find out about this site? There is a homepage on this site, should that not be a place for "Announcements" to be made to let people know just what is happening. I, like I'm sure many others, don't want to, or feel it is there place, to hassle admins everytime there is a slight niggle. If not an Announcement, then at the very least a forum post by Admin on what's happening with the site.
